ShowShine Metal X – Iron & Contaminant Remover

ShowShine Metal X is a professional-strength iron fallout and brake dust remover designed to safely dissolve embedded metallic contamination from a vehicle’s surface. Engineered with advanced decontamination chemistry, Metal X reacts with ferrous particles on contact, breaking them down at the source and restoring a clean, smooth surface ready for polishing or protection.

Important Pre-Cleaning Step

Before using Metal X, heavily soiled vehicles must be thoroughly washed to remove loose dirt, grime, and debris. Use ShowShine Power Soap and/or ShowShine Rinseless Wash to properly clean the surface first. Metal X should always be applied to a pre-cleaned surface to ensure safe and effective contamination removal.

How To Use

Standard Application:

1. Ensure surface is pre-washed and free of loose dirt and debris.
2. Make sure the surface is cool and out of direct sunlight.
3. Spray Metal X evenly onto the affected area.
4. Allow product to dwell as it reacts and turns purple, indicating iron removal.
5. Lightly agitate if needed for heavy buildup using a soft brush or wash mitt.
6. Rinse thoroughly with water until all residue is removed.
7. Repeat if necessary for heavily contaminated surfaces.

Clay Bar / Clay Towel Method:

1. Pre-wash the vehicle using Power Soap and/or Rinseless Wash to remove all loose dirt.
2. Lightly mist Metal X onto the panel.
3. Lightly mist Metal X onto the clay bar or clay towel as lubrication.
4. Work the clay bar or towel in straight back-and-forth motions with light pressure.
5. Re-lubricate as needed to avoid friction or marring.
6. Rinse or wipe the panel clean after decontamination.

• Do not allow product to dry on the surface
• Always use on a cool surface out of direct sunlight
• Rinse thoroughly after use
• Use proper pre-wash before application on all vehicles
• Work gently when using clay media to avoid marring
