Surface Preparation

Proper preparation is essential for maximum bonding and durability.

1. Thoroughly wash, decontaminate, and completely dry the vehicle.
2. Perform any necessary paint correction or polishing to remove defects and achieve the desired finish.
3. Remove all polishing oils, fillers, waxes, and other surface protectants using ShowShine Decon. The surface must be completely clean before applying SS 3.

Application

1. Apply 10–15 drops of SS 3 onto a clean microfiber or suede coating applicator.
2. Working one small section at a time, spread the coating evenly using a circular motion followed by a crosshatch (horizontal and vertical) pattern to ensure complete, uniform coverage.
3. Immediately level the coating using a clean, dry, folded microfiber towel.
4. Follow immediately with a second clean, dry microfiber towel to remove any remaining residue and produce a perfectly even finish. Rotate to a fresh section of each towel after every panel or application area.
5. Continue this process until the entire vehicle has been coated.

Correcting High Spots

If any high spots or uneven areas are noticed after application, apply a small amount of SS 3 to the applicator and gently work the affected area to reactivate the coating. Immediately level the surface using clean microfiber towels until the finish is uniform.

Professional Tip: Work on cool surfaces out of direct sunlight. Replace applicators and microfiber towels as they become saturated to ensure the highest-quality finish.
